Metro Atlanta Chamber spotlights Atlanta neighborhoods with black and white photo series
By Patrick Adcock
The Metro Atlanta Chamber unveiled a new photo series by in-house photographer Akshay Gopalakrishnan – an office photo gallery comprised of black and white images showcasing many of metro Atlanta’s neighborhoods. The photos reveal the unique sights and structures of our city.
“This new series is directly representative of the Chamber’s goal to grow, advocate and promote on behalf of our city. The diversity of our neighborhoods, and thus the diversity of our population, is one of our strongest assets – that is what these photos reveal,” said Metro Atlanta Chamber President and CEO Hala Moddelmog.
Through a months-long process of interviews and photography expeditions, Gopalakrishnan worked with MAC leadership to pinpoint the landmarks that meant the most to our own Atlanta residents.
“Akshay worked hard to identify the locations and sights that showcase the city’s personality. For me, the new developments around Mercedes-Benz Stadium and SunTrust Park are true examples of architecture that contribute to the vibrancy of metro Atlanta,” said Atlanta Sports Council President Dan Corso.
