The Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. (JLA) is excited to celebrate a milestone anniversary of its Shamrock ‘N Roll Road Race. The March 16, 2019 race marks the 15th year the JLA will welcome walkers, runners, kids, families and four legged friends to hit the pavement to help improve the lives of women and children in the Atlanta community.
Nearly one hundred JLA members come together to form a race committee and collaborate for over half of the year to execute a morning of fun and fitness with a St. Patrick’s Day flare. This annual 10K, 5K and Kids 1K provides JLA members the opportunity to understand the workings of a road race from marketing and sponsorship to logistics and registration. The Shamrock ‘N Roll Road Race not only gives members the chance to oversee the development of one of the JLA’s longest-standing events, but it serves as an educational opportunity for race participants to get to learn more about the community impact work that JLA does and the pivotal role it plays in the Atlanta community.
This 15th annual Shamrock N’ Roll race continues to build year after year bringing out over a thousand men, women & children of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you walk, run, push a stroller or chase your dog, the Shamrock ‘N Roll Road Race is a morning filled with entertainment, lots of green and camaraderie among your best friends and family. Your race registration helps JLA to raise funds to enhance the lives of women and children in need.
