The second season of the Fresh MARTA Market kicked-off on Friday, Sept. 23 at the Five Points Station with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that celebrated the value of the program and its convenience for MARTA customers.
Fifteen years ago, I found a way to save money, get more exercise, save time, read more, help the environment, and most of all, shed stress – all by riding MARTA.
Because I am a transit advocate, I have oriented my residence, commuting pattern, and favorite stores around MARTA. While I recognize that others may live differently, steps can be taken to change how less frequent riders perceive MARTA.
